George W. Truesdell



He learned the trade of flax weaver from his father, and migrated to Solon Mills, Illinois in 1847 to become a farmer. Among Georges papers there is an agreement to rent land in McHenry County, Ill. signed by him on April 1, 1861. Letters from his children state that he died on his farm in McHenry County, February 11, 1888, aged 84.
